East Fork Tournament Results
Our last tournament of the year started off calm and cool. There seemed to be an early bite but with a 15” size limit most of the fish fell short. The team of Bill Dean and Ben Fox took 1st place with 4.24 lbs. Crank baits and plastics seemed to be the food of the day. This is Bill and Ben’s 1st win. 2nd place went to Tim Hart who fished alone. 3rd place went to the team of Martin Prior and James Smith. Congratulations to all.
East Fork Tournament Results
We started off the day with wind, clouds and cool. The wind stayed and became partly cloudy throughout the day. Water was 78* and slightly stained. A cold front came through Friday and made the bite few and far in-between. All of the teams weighed in fish with our newest member’s taking first and second place. Tim miller fishing alone took first place with 5 fish. Tim said the fishing was sporadic no single pattern paid off. He caught fish on everything from crank baits to shaky head’s. Tim just moved here from California. He found the SOBC through our web site. Next season he plans on fishing the NBAA with his father. Second place went to the new team of Martin Prior of TightLines lures and Jason Smith with 3 fish. Martin is one of our newest sponsors. Martin and Jason meet through the NBAA find a partner program. Congratulations to all the teams.
1st place Tim Miller
2nd place Martin and Jason
